Little did Amanda Hightower know when she came home one day that there would be thieves inside her house trying to steal her dog. She walked in startling the burglars, and they hit her at least three times, pistol-whipped her, and ran out the front door with her 11-month-old French Bulldog, Milani.
The value of the dog is said to be about $7,000, but Milani is worth even more since she’s pregnant. The French Bulldog breed has become a target in recent kidnappings around the country because of its popularity. With her puppies due next month, Amanda is hoping her dog can be brought home in time.
